Responsible for:          Hotel Operation
Location:                     Front Office (Front Desk)

Receptionist:               A receptionist is the heart and supportively serves as nerve centre of the hotel to an operation of developing and selling the hotel’s products of accommodations, food & beverage, etc. A receptionist is also a diplomatic salesman wearing smiling-face and attentive manners at the Front Desk in communicating the guest. And the first and last impression of the hotel is deeply depending on a receptionist.
Jobs Descriptions:
1.     Selling & Up selling rooms
2.     Welcoming & Receiving Guests
3.     Registering guests
4.     Making rooms allocations
5.     Rooming guest
6.     Maintaining guests records
7.     Accounting for guest expenditures
8.     Providing miscellaneous guest services
9.     Posting hotel’s other income {such as garden income}
10.         Acting as communication centre
11.         Keeping relevance guest record
12.         Dealing with advanced reservations
13.         Providing statistical Information
14.         Providing and introducing information about local interesting places {especially for trekking, about Mt.Popa Taungkalatt}
15.         Perform as telephone operator
16.         Observing & responsible for guest’s and staff’s safe and security

Skills of Receptionist:             A receptionist needs to have a wide variety of knowledge and the following skills;
1.     Very friendly, caring and helpful
2.     Enjoy assisting people with their needs
3.     Being well-dressed and neatly groomed for presenting an image of the hotel.
4.     Having excellent computer skills
5.     Enable to speak more than one Language
6.     Having Diplomatic
